Searching for jobs
We have provided a simple but flexible search facility which allows you to pinpoint relevant vacancies quickly and accurately. The quickest search method is to use the cascading search menu through the 'Job seekers' option on the top navigation bar. Alternatively, make searches using skill and/or location keywords via the 'Search' panel on the right of the screen. Use the drop-down menu in this panel to limit your results to recently published vacancies.
Wherever you are in the site, you might want to keep half an eye on the Featured jobs panel that displays live jobs from our database. If an appropriate summary catches your eye, just click on it to be taken to a full description.
Your job cart can be viewed at any time via the link on the left of the screen. Not only does job cart enable you to store jobs as you browse, it also enables you to apply for multiple jobs with a single submission. Follow our simple, step-by-step application procedure to send us your CV (with any additional notes) in either MS Word, RTF or PDF format.
Your cart will save any selected jobs for a period of 30 days. You can also send your CV speculatively for review by our consultants against current vacancies - just follow the 'send us your CV' link from the job cart page.
By registering with informatiq.co.uk you can get the most out of our online recruitment service. All we need is your name, email address and a password. Once registered, you can log in at each visit to enjoy the added features available, such as...
Probably our most powerful service for registered users is ePrompt - jobs by email. ePrompts deliver personally-defined vacancies to your inbox the moment they are added to our database. You specify exactly the type of position you're interested in, and we deliver matching vacancies direct to your inbox the moment they are added to the site. You can add, edit and remove as many ePrompts as you like.
To set up an ePrompt, simply log in and select 'Create new ePrompt' from the registered users' menu. To edit or delete any existing ePrompts, just choose 'Manage my ePrompts'.
You'll also be prompted to create an ePrompt based on your search selections if any of your job searches return no results.
