Contracts Manager

An excellent opportunity has just arisen for a Contracts Manager to join in the ranks of a technologically superior business. You will be leading a small team, dedicated to the commercialisation of the company, within the IPT division. Due to the seniority of the role, you will be working on high value contracts, ensuring that commercial leadership is on-going. As the Contracts Manager, you will be tasked in maximizing the company's commercial position, particularly in regards to assisting the Supply Chain Management team. You will predict potential commercial risks within the supply chain, and improving upon the commercial relationship between the company and the customer. Other specifics of the position include:

- Managed complex negotiations.
- Inciting commercial activity, through commercial inputs and ensuring service delivery is on budget.
- To protect the commercial interests of the business, such as; Intellectual Property and enabling the optimum TUPE outcome.
- Review projects and provide on-going Commercial assistance.
- Collaborate with other senior staff members throughout the project.
- Create change request quotations and proposals, utilising inputs from technical, programme and sales personnel.
- Cost model preparation, review and approvals.
- Maintaining customer Commercial interface.
- Contract Amendments.
- Knowledge of the balance between risk and reward.
- Knowledge of standard and alternative contract terms and conditions.
- Assessing tradeoff potential and risk mitigation.
- Working knowledge of ISO44001.
- The ability to travel within the South West of UK.
- Understanding finance in relation to commercial contracts.
- CIPS qualified would be beneficial.
