Are you a clinician, clinical facilitator or similar, with a passion for IT and experience implementing an IT system? Along with an understanding of the NHS workflows that sit behind them? If so, please read on.

This opening for a Clinical Systems Specialist joins a dynamic and award winning software house and is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of IT solutions, often requiring multiple systems integrations. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse or hold HCPC registration and have a thorough understanding of clinical workflows.

Purpose of the Clinical Systems Specialist

* Work as the go-between person for IT and customers, gathering and translating system requirements
* Understand system functionality and business workflows
* Provide product solution demonstrations
* Explain the potential benefits of systems
* Provide product documentation
* Coordinate system deployment projects
* Assist with product testing if required
* Plan for the delivery of training to customers, provide training when required

Person specification:
• Several years of experience in a relevant clinical area
• Analytical with an understanding of clinical workflows and understand the importance of data collection and reporting
• A good knowledge of the operational procedures within the different departments that make up the NHS
• Hold a current qualification with a professional body (e.g. NMC, HCPC registration)
• Evidence of recent clinical experience
• Evidence of CPD (Continuing Professional Development)
• Experience of working with a range of stakeholders
•Experience in the delivery of projects including project support and implementation

*This position will require extensive travel to client sites across the UK
