In-Service Support Manager

Are you a friendly and amenable individual in want of a customer facing managerial position? As the In-Service Support Manager, you will act as the primary Company representative, bridging the gap between the Business and external stakeholders, ensuring proper support is disseminated. You will need to build a rapport with prospective customers throughout operational life and subsequently cultivate a strong lasting professional relationship is maintained.

As the In-Service Support Manager, you would be heading a team of like-minded professionals as you each use your abilities to promote Solutions Design and Development. This role will require close liaison with End Users, Platform OEMs, Platform Maintainers, LoBs and other partners to deliver successful customer outcomes to identify follow on and new orders from support and additional value added services, for the various product lines.

Key Responsibilities of the In-Service Support Manager:

- Optimising availability and mission success to the customer.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers.
- Delivery to support transitioning, alongside interfacing with customers and supporting delivery of after-sale revenue strategies.
- UK and overseas travel
- Create customer requirement programmes and monitor performance.
- Clear line of communication between yourself and the customer, regarding all aspects of the operation.
- Collaborate with customers, thus improving usage and capability.
- Update repairs and support service contracts to achieve business returns.

Qualifications required of the In-Service Support Manager:

- Technical Engineering, Aerospace or Electro-Mech background
- Ability to establish and strengthen relationships with customers.
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- Calm under pressure.
- Multi-tasking abilities.
- Experience of ILS (desirable)
- Analytical abilities, alongside strong presentation skills.
- Business acumen.
- Interest in Platform and avionics systems would be beneficial.
- Experience of working in export markets with overseas customers.
